 Our club is a BC Summer Swimming Association (BCSSA) summer competitive swim team offering high quality professional coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities. The goal of our team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability, from novice to international competitor.
The Sunfish have been in North Delta since 1970 teaching over 5,000 North Delta children to swim competitively. Additionally, we offer a fabulous co-ed Water Polo program throughout the year. Water Polo was introduced into the Sunfish in 2004 with ongoing success.
All of our coaches, as members of the BC Swim Coaches Association, have access to the most comprehensive training and certification program for youth coaches of any sport in Canada. They provide assurances that the time children spend in swimming will be quality time.
The North Delta Sunfish, a non profit club, is run by its elected Board of Directors which meets each month. All members are welcome to be involved in team activities and fundraisers. Volunteering is the key to our success!
